Emily Sutton grew in a small village in North, Yorkshire and now lives in York. She studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, which also included six months at the Rhode island School of Design. Since then, she has exhibited both her prints and textiles and illustrated books for children and adults. With a lifelong love of drawing and painting, Emily uses a combination of these approaches in her current work.

Kaffe Fassett has inspired people across the world with his colourful work in fabric, knitting, needlepoint, patchwork, painting and mosaic.
Kaffe Fassett was born in San Francisco in 1937. When he was 19, he won a scholarship to the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, but left after three months to paint in London. He settled in England in 1964.
Made with Love was started in July 2009 and since then has gone from strength to strength!
This studio is started by Charlotte Fleming, a young artist trained at City and Guilds of London Art School. Her father was the furniture designer Christien Sell. Growing up surrounded by her father’s designs has had a big influence on her and design has always been a big part of her life.
