Handmade Holiday Craft Fair, Brooklyn, NY

3rd Ward is the home for creativity. It’s a special place where you can experiment, practice and polish your craft, and a place to explore the possibilities.

Whether you’re looking to dabble in your creativity or whether you want to seriously turn your passion into your daily living, they are here to help you make it happen. 3rd Ward offers the classes, tools, and space you need to be inspired, share ideas, and express your creativity—all in a fun and supportive environment with people striving to do the same thing as you.

3rd Ward Founders Jason Goodman and Jeremy Lovitt moved to New York City in 2004. Immediately they were confronted with the limitations of being a working creative professional; either you work at home and don’t have the space and tools you need, or you sacrifice creative freedom and work for someone else.

Their solution: 3rd Ward. In September 2005, they took over a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse space in the third ward of Brooklyn. Friends, designers and local builders and fabricators put their blood, sweat and a whole lot of love into getting the facility open by May of 2006.
